Pros: Very pretty bottle.
Cons: Makes you want to spit it out almost immediately.
The Bottom Line: This is a prime example of one of those corporate products that's invented by a marketing team rather than a brewmaster. Flee.

| Chuq's Full Review: Zima |
I wish I could remember who it was that coined the following phrase. It wasn't me (although I wish it had been), but it'd make a perfect tag line for a truly truthful Zima commercial:
"Zima. Tastes like zhit."
I don't know a single person of my acquaintance who actually drinks this swill, but out of sheer curiosity I tried some at a housewarming party a while back. Not unlike my first experience with DeKuyper Sour Apple Pucker, my first instinct was to spit it out. After I successfully accomplished that task, my next one was to get some water to rinse the taste of it from my mouth.
(I"ve really got to stop trying these stupid fruity-flavored things at parties.)
Zima has a looooong finish, and it's a really bad one. Imagine combining plain-wrap lemon-lime soda with plain-wrap light beer (or worse, Coors Light) and you'll have an inkling of this beverage's most disagreeable flavor. If this is an indication of what all these non-beer products that are sold alongside beer taste like, I'm not keen to try any of them.
If you want something fruity, try a Lindeman's lambic beer from Belgium -- I highly recommend the raspberry and cassis flavors.
Forget Zima. Nice bottle, though.
